Running on a Microsoft Surface Pro 8 encased in the Designed for Surface® certified rugged xCase with an Intel® RealSense™ 3D camera, the xDIM software showed it’s a true dimensioning workhorse, spending all 4-days capturing box dimensions in under a second! With a simple point-and-click of the tablet aimed at a box, visitors saw how truly fast and easy it is to use xDIM.
Booth visitors also saw a sneak peak of the upcoming xDIM updates: mobile dimensioning of pallets and irregular items, commonly referred to as uglies.
Visitors also caught the chance to see the all-new xScale S200 pair to the xDIM interface via Bluetooth. The completely portable smart scale is lightweight, compact and designed for personal portability. Visitors got to try out opening the collapsible scale to the innovative Y-shape on which items are placed for weighing plus try the belt holster, ensuring the scale is conveniently available wherever it’s needed.
Further adding to the xDIM software interface is the ability to include barcode data. MobileDemand conveniently offers multiple scanning options depending on consumer needs: integrated tablet scanners, xScanHandle G200 and wearable scanners from ProGlove. Each scanner provides flexible configuration options with a variety of short to ultra-long-range scanners depending on use case.
Stay tuned to our website as we launch xDIM for pallets and irregular items this Spring.
