MobileDemand was eager to attend PACK EXPO International show early this November at McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. More than 43,000 were in attendance, including our very own Matt Miller, Peter Seele, Amy Garman, Jeanette Baumler and Hannah Burds, who were proud to represent MobileDemand and showcase our innovative solutions.
Eliminating Manual Processes – Capturing Data is No Longer a Daunting Task
Our xDIM mobile dimensioning drew enthusiastic interest through live demos, showcasing its ability to increase efficiency and accuracy in real-time. With a simple “aim, click and capture” process, attendees saw firsthand how easy it is to gather precise dimensions. The built-in background removal feature especially impressed visitors, including one attendee who shared that they currently use graph paper for measurements and outsource editing to prepare product images. Our quick dimensioning capture and background removal functionalities proved to be a game-changer, all while storing dimensions, weight, photos and more conveniently in one place.
Another highlighted application was xPIM, a free app you can download on your handheld device - whether iOS or Android - to start capturing data today! xPIM is a comprehensive product data collection app that consolidates all master and multi-level details – such as dimensions, weight and photos - under one product ID. It also includes the Cloud Insight Dashboard, which also features our background removal tool. xPIM enhances efficiency in automation planning, ecommerce listings, space optimization, surcharge avoidance and cartonization.
Built Tough, Priced Right: Rugged Tablets with Unbeatable Value
In addition to showcasing our mobile dimensioning solutions, we displayed our rugged tablets, including the popular Flex 12B. This value-packed 2-in-1 tablet ensures seamless operation for any frontline worker. With its large 12.6” display, MIL-STD-810H drop-test durability, and lightweight portability, it delivers high performance and unparalleled flexibility at a competitive price point. At the show, attendees appreciated the rugged laptop for data entry and its detachable keyboard for on-the-go tablet needs.
Efficient Weighing with xScale S200
Our booth featured a giveaway of the xScale S200, which was a hit among attendees. The compact, high-speed Bluetooth® scale is perfect for capturing weights quickly and accurately. From deep-dish pizza to diverse flavors around the city, sharing meals brought a personal touch that strengthened their team bond and refreshed them for another productive day on the show floor.
